Elly Pond (she/they) is an actor and comedian originally from Guelph, Ontario. After graduating from Concordia University’s Acting for the Theatre Program in 2023, Elly has been freelancing for over five years in a variety of creative roles including acting, comedy, directing, producing, writing, puppeteering, and photography. They have worked with renowned comedy theatres such as Theatre Saint-Catherine, Montreal Improv, Bad Dog Theatre, The Making-Box Improv and Comedy Club, and Musical Improv Montreal. A festival producer for Bad Dog Theatre, Elly is also an award-winning sketch comedy writer and performer. With eight years of experience teaching improv, Elly currently teaches acting at Concordia University and is passionate about creating spaces where everyone can thrive through creativity and laughter.
